Imagine being lost at night and needing a map AND a compass! This is a compass. Its needle always points North. If you know North, you know where to go! A map shows you where to go, and a compass shows you the direction.

In life, we also need a map and a compass. God gave us the Bible to be our map. But sometimes, the Bible can be tricky to understand. So, God sent the Holy Spirit to be our guide. The Holy Spirit helps us understand the Bible and shows us the right way. Just like Jesus said, "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you."

If you ever feel lost or confused, and can't read your map or find your compass, just follow the Son... God's Son, Jesus!

Dear Father, thank You for our map, the Bible, and for our guide, the Holy Spirit. Most of all, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to save us. Amen.
